My name is Deanna Roth, and I have been teaching at St. Mary School for the past 19 years. I grew up on a farm in Curtiss, WI where I attended Holy Rosary Elementary School in Owen, WI. Before high school began, my family moved to Milan, where I graduated from Abbotsford High School. After high school, I received my Elementary Education degree from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, and then returned to the area and began teaching here at St. Mary’s. I got married, and have three children who are currently in middle school here. I also have three older step-children, who also attended school at St. Mary’s.
In fourth grade, we enjoy exploring Science experiments, as well as topics in Social Studies, like Wisconsin history. We also make time for exciting new art projects, as well as working together on subjects like reading and math. We even take time out to read short novels in small groups and answer questions to help work on our comprehension.
