Classes start at 6:30 p.m. Students need to arrive and be ready to start class by 6:30 p.m. We recommend being in the classroom by 6:25 p.m. Late students may be marked absent.  

Two Full Years of Formation Required - This requirement is met by regular attendance of classes freshman and sophomore year of high school. Students should not miss more than 3 classes a year. Please see the attendance requirements on the Religious Education Homepage.   

Service Hours (45 Total) - These are split to 15 hours a year (5 church, 5 school, 5 community). We share church and community related activities as they become available. Hours can be submitted during class to the instructor or by emailing to the DRE.  Record forms are handed out to students during class, but feel free to use your own recording method.  

Saint Paper - Complete by first Wednesday of November during student’s freshman year. Instructions are handed out during class.

Sponsor Form - Complete by first Wednesday of December during student’s sophomore year. Forms are handed out during class.

Retreat - One retreat attended during the Confirmation Program. We offer at least one opportunity every other year and share other opportunities available by other parishes as we learn about them.

Knowledge Test - Students are given a copy of the test to take home and use as a study tool. Introduced in class freshman year, reviewed both freshman and sophomore year, taken and passed prior to Confirmation.

Mass JournalsCompleted for each Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation through the entire year for all students in grades 9-11 (includes during the summer). Mass Journals will be checked periodically during the school year. This is a requirement for every student in high school, no exceptions.

Program ExpectationsCopies of expectations and all instructions will be handed out during the first night of classes. A signed copy of the expectations will need to be returned by each student by the first Wednesday of October. If you have any questions, please contact the DRE or your child’s instructor.

Sacrament Form - This form includes all of the information needed for the official parish sacrament records. This form will be handed out to the Confirmation class the first night of classes and must be turned in prior to the Confirmation rehearsal in November.
